How to choose the right shirt size?

Size chart and measurements

Three measurements are crucial for a well-fitting and comfortable shirt - neck circumference, chest circumference and shirt length. Optionally, sleeve length.

Shirt dimensions

The best way to measure your neck circumference is with a tailor's measuring tape. If you don't have one at hand, you can use a string, for example, and then measure it with any standard tape measure. For shirts with a stand-up collar, it looks best unbuttoned, so there's no need to add an extra cm.

For chest circumference and shirt length, you can take an existing shirt or a favorite t-shirt from your closet. Lay it on a flat surface.

For the chest, measure the width of the shirt or T-shirt under the arm pits. Multiply this measurement by 2.

Measure the approximate length of the shirt from the shoulders to the bottom edge of the garment.

The values in the table below are the shirt dimensions.
Your measurements should be smaller than listed - in other words, choose the next larger shirt size .
