How to choose the right shirt size?
Size chart and measurements
Three measurements are crucial for a well-fitting and comfortable shirt - neck circumference, chest circumference and shirt length. Optionally, sleeve length.
The best way to measure your neck circumference is with a tailor's measuring tape. If you don't have one at hand, you can use a string, for example, and then measure it with any standard tape measure. For shirts with a stand-up collar, it looks best unbuttoned, so there's no need to add an extra cm.
For chest circumference and shirt length, you can take an existing shirt or a favorite t-shirt from your closet. Lay it on a flat surface.
For the chest, measure the width of the shirt or T-shirt under the arm pits. Multiply this measurement by 2.
Measure the approximate length of the shirt from the shoulders to the bottom edge of the garment.
Shirt as a gift? Not sure?
No problem. The shirt can be exchanged at any time if it has not been worn. Maybe even after a few weeks, no worries
Also try looking in your wardrobe for existing shirts and their size and markings for more information and good estimate.
